Jordan Hohwieler is an associate in Ice Miller’s Real Estate Group. In his practice, Jordan represents corporate investors, national syndicators, private equity funds and upper-tier investors.
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Jordan reviewed, negotiated and documented equity and real estate financing agreements for more than 50 projects financed with low-income housing, historic rehabilitation and renewable energy tax credits. He has also reviewed and negotiated fund agreements, investor side letter agreements and tax opinions for in multi-investor and proprietary upper-tier tax credit funds in his representation of syndicators and investors.
Jordan earned his juris doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law, cum laude, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska, cum laude.

- Drafted, reviewed and negotiated equity documents for multi-million dollar investments in tax credit-financed real estate projects, including low-income housing, historic rehabilitations and energy projects
- Reviewed and negotiated multi-million dollar commercial loan and tax-exempt bond documents in connection with multi-family real estate projects
- Reviewed documents in connection with federal housing subsidies, including Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program and Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) subsidies
- Representation of developers, investors and syndicators in multi-investor and proprietary upper-tier tax credit funds, including reviewing and negotiating fund agreements, investor side letter agreements and tax opinions
