Kim Morán Irizarry is an associate in Ice Miller’s Public Finance Practice. Kim represents equity investors and syndicators in the structuring of complex real estate transactions that generate federal low income housing tax credits. She is passionate about helping her clients navigate the affordable housing industry.

Before joining Ice Miller, Kim worked at a Chicago law firm representing financial institutions and borrowers in a variety of commercial financing transactions, including syndicated and single-lender credit facilities, subordinated debt transactions, acquisition financing and real estate-related loan transactions. 
In addition, Kim also worked as a senior tax associate at a Big Four accounting firm where she advised corporate clients on state and local tax credits and incentives, as well as the tax implications of cross-border transactions.
Kim is fluent in Spanish and has worked as a summer associate with a leading law firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Kim earned her juris doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she served as an articles editor for the Indiana Law Journal.
