Leslie Rogers is an associate in Ice Miller’s Trust, Estates and Private Wealth Group.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Leslie was an associate in an Ohio-based law firm where she facilitated commercial real estate deals, drafted legal documents necessary for closing and drafted pleadings and litigation documents. She communicated with business owners and prepared business formation and continued operation documents. Leslie also met with estate planning clients and prepared Probate avoidance and tax planning documents.

Leslie earned her juris doctor in 2017 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. During law school, she earned the CALI Award in Transactional Lawyering and acted as managing editor of the Ohio State Law Journal, Ohio State’s official law review. She also clerked at a firm where she wrote complaints, discovery requests and motions for summary judgments and assisted in the creation of a training manual for a city police department to prevent future legal action.

Before going to law school, Leslie worked as a paralegal at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. In this role, she independently mediated Massachusetts’s consumer complaints against businesses and insurance companies, aided in the development of civil cases on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and reviewed and interpreted legal document productions on AD Summation Enterprise.

Leslie earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Hispanic Studies from Boston College in 2012, earning Dean’s List every semester and membership to the Golden Key International Honour Society. Leslie was a varsity cheerleader and studied abroad at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Spain. Leslie volunteered with Strong Women, Strong Girls, a nonprofit organization, from 2010-2012. Leslie mentored at-risk girls in grades 3-5 in high quality, educational programming and wrote more than $300,000 in grants for the organization.

Leslie is licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio, the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio and the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio.
