Maggie Kimmel is an associate in Ice Miller’s Trusts, Estates and Private Wealth Practice Group. Maggie’s practice focuses on estate planning, private wealth transfer and tax strategy, business succession planning, and estate and trust administration.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Maggie served legal clients in Bellefontaine, Columbus and Delaware, Ohio, where she worked closely with individuals and business owners. Her experience includes advising on estate planning, asset protection planning, elder care law, and estate and trust administration. This experience has taught her a client-focused approach to the practice of law, with emphasis placed on creating estate plans that meet the unique needs of each individual client.

Maggie earned her juris doctor, cum laude, from Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law. She served as President of the Student Bar Association and as Symposium Editor and Staff Editor for the Ohio Northern University Law Review. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Ohio Northern University. She is admitted to practice in the state of Ohio.
