Mariah Field is an associate and lobbyist in Ice Miller’s Public Affairs Group. Mariah’s extensive legislative experience uniquely positions her to help clients navigate their public affairs needs. 

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Mariah served on the legislative affairs team in the Office of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. In this role, she worked on a number of issues including criminal justice, procurement, and IT. She served as the governor’s liaison for a number of cabinet agencies, such as the Department of Job and Family Services, the Office of Budget and Management, the Department of Public Safety, and more.  

Mariah also served as director of legislative affairs for the Department of Administrative Services and legislative liaison for the Department of Aging. In both roles, she managed government relations and provided legislative guidance to senior staff on issues relevant to these agencies. 

Prior to her time in the administration, Mariah gained campaign experience during her time with New Day for America. She also served as a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives and an intern to U.S. Senator Rob Portman in Washington D.C.

Mariah earned her juris doctor from Capital University Law School. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio.
