Mary Morris is an associate at Ice Miller.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mary worked as an intern in the City of South Bend Legal Department. As an intern, she researched and drafted memoranda on legal issues including breach of contract claims, medical record privacy, worker’s compensation, riparian rights and zoning law variances.
 
Mary earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. Mary earned her juris doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2021. While in law school, she served as an executive notes & comments editor for the Indiana Law Journal, led the pro bono organization Outreach for Legal Literacy, was a finalist in the school’s Transactional Drafting & Negotiation Competition and participated in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition.
 
Before the start of her legal career, Mary served as an office manager and later director of human resources at a Houston-based company. In these roles, she assisted customers with concerns and developed new HR organizational and compliance systems.
 
In her free time, Mary enjoys reading, attending concerts, watching sports and traveling.
