Meredith Heim is an associate at Ice Miller.

Meredith received her juris doctor from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. During law school, she participated in the Ice Miller Summer Associate program and worked as a law clerk at Rush University Medical Center. In these roles, she conducted research and drafted memorandum regarding issues of regulatory compliance, corporate restructuring and risk management.

She also served as an editor for the Northwestern Journal of Human Rights and worked with the Center for International Human Rights at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. While working at the center, Meredith assisted in the publication of a report aimed at improving the livelihoods of Ghana cocoa farmers and the submission of an amicus brief to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights regarding the case of Manuela v. El Salvador.

Previously, Meredith worked as a litigation project assistant and mergers & acquisitions clearance assistant at a Chicago-based firm. While there, she helped prepare Hart-Scott-Rodino filings for transactions ranging in value from $165 million to $5 billion and assisted attorneys in their preparation for client meetings, depositions, court hearings and trial.
