Paul Brunkhorst is an attorney in Ice Miller’s Litigation Practice.

Paul focuses his practice on commercial litigation, where he handles breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and fraud claims. He is also actively involved in distressed real estate litigation. Additionally, he has experience in assisting clients with data breach responses and compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and has written on the topic of payment security in franchise systems. 

Paul first joined Ice Miller as a summer associate in 2018.

Paul earned his juris doctor from Georgetown University in 2019. While in law school, Paul was a research assistant for Professor Sonya Bonneau and was managing editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. He also worked as a legal intern for the Catholic Charities Legal Network in Washington, D.C. He earned his bachelors degree from Saint Louis University in 2016. While at Saint Louis, Paul served as the editor-in-chief of The University News and was a student athlete on the swimming and diving team. 

In his free time, Paul enjoys taking walks in Chicago's Lincoln Park with his fiance, Erin, and their labrador retriever, Chewy.
