R'iele J. Sims is an associate in Ice Miller's Litigation Group. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Vanderbilt University, with minors in political science and corporate strategy. While there, she was an executive board member of the Alpha Kappa Delta honor society, Tennessee Iota chapter.
 
In 2015, R'iele graduated, magna cum laude, from Valparaiso University Law School in Valparaiso, Indiana. While in law school, R'iele served as an associate editor of the Valparaiso University Law Review. She also held various teaching assistant positions throughout law school for the legal writing department. 
 
In summer of 2014, R'iele clerked at Ice Miller as a summer associate. Before joining the Firm as an associate in 2015, she held intern positions with: the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Indiana; the Office of the State’s Attorney, Cook County; and the Office of the Public Defender, Cook County.
 
Additionally, she also served as a Judicial Intern for Administrative Judge Winston Jackson, Jr. at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Chicago District Office and was a member of the Valparaiso University Juvenile Law Clinic.
 
R'iele is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.
