Robert is an experienced patent and trademark prosecutor and litigator whose practice focuses on creating strategic strategies to prevent competitors from encroaching on valuable intellectual property rights. Robert draws on his background in the electrical, computing, and mechanical arts to obtain global patent protection for his clients.
His broad litigation experience includes helping U.S. and international companies obtain relief or defend against charges around the country at the USPTO, district court, and appellate levels. He appears in both state and federal courts on behalf of his clients, but also obtains nontraditional relief in both mediation and arbitration.
Robert earned his undergraduate degree from The Cooper Union in the Advancement of Science and Arts’ electrical engineering program, and then worked as a sensor engineer on an unarmed maritime surveillance drone for the U.S. Navy.
