Roberto Falconi is an associate in Ice Miller’s Business Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, federal and state securities law, regulatory compliance and general corporate matters.  
 
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Roberto worked in the insurance industry for nine years where he held both Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Licenses. Initially, he worked as an associate insurance agent for Nationwide Insurance, a Fortune 100 Company, and later transitioned into the roles of placement service specialist and personal risk advisor with Marsh USA Inc., a global leader in insurance broking and risk management. As an associate insurance agent, he represented the agency by marketing and selling lines of insurance to prospective and current policyholders, while building and maintaining relationships through exceptional customer service. As a placement service specialist, he prepared complex endorsements in several insurance companies’ platforms and national insurance programs, as well as ordered and analyzed financial/loss reports for use in pre-underwriting risk. As a personal risk advisor, he handled a large national book of business containing complex personal lines' risks, including excess and surplus lines.
 
Roberto received his associate degree with high distinctions from Jefferson Community College in 2005. He then earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2009. In 2017, he graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, Ill.
 
While in law school, Roberto served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Caroline E. Baker at the 295th Civil Court of Harris County District in Houston, Texas and Hon. Holly F. Clemons at the 6th Judicial District Court of Illinois in Urbana, Ill. He was a member of the Student Legal Relief Organization and served as student ambassador. Before graduating from law school, Roberto was a summer clerk for Ice Miller in 2016. 
 
Roberto is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.
