Samantha Lofton Moss is the chief risk and information governance officer at Ice Miller. She is responsible for the Firm's information governance program and relevant staff. She oversees information asset issues relating to risk management: compliance/privacy/IT security; practice support; litigation support/electronic data discovery; knowledge/library services; records/information management; retention; docketing; new business intake/conflicts; imaging and electronically stored information initiatives and best practices.

Samantha has over 20 years experience in information management. Prior to joining Ice Miller, she held the office of firm-wide records information and compliance manager for Greenebaum Doll and McDonald, a large law firm based in Louisville, Ky. While there she implemented a firm-wide records and information management program and lent her knowledge on records and information management to clients on an as-needed basis and served as a key member of the following teams: Enterprise Records and Information Management; Technology; Electronic Discovery Law and Information Management; HITECH Compliance; and Knowledge Management.

Before joining Greenebaum, Samantha was a lead records management technician for ClinTrials Research Inc., a clinical research organization based in Durham, N.C.
