Sean Flood is an associate in Ice Miller’s Intellectual Property Group. Sean’s background in electrical engineering, software development and telecommunications brings a unique perspective to his legal practice. He has experience preparing and prosecuting patents for many diverse clients, with a particular focus in semiconductors, control circuit design and methodologies relating to driving circuits, functional circuits and software.

Sean represents patent clients in their PTAB proceedings. He provides broad litigation support and counsels clients on patentability and infringement positions.

Prior to obtaining his law degree, Sean was a lead software developer who developed and administered database and network servers. He developed wide-ranging application software for many diverse clients, including large scale database-driven applications.
