Sophie Honeyman is an associate in Ice Miller’s Litigation Group in the Chicago office. Prior to joining the firm, Sophie served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mark J. Dinsmore, U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Indiana. As a law clerk, she managed internal case files, drafted orders regarding civil motions and disputes, and researched caselaw.
Sophie graduated from Bradley University with a B.S. in Journalism and a minor in Political Science in 2018. As part of the Bradley University Speech Team, she was a nationally-ranked public speaker and speech writer. Sophie received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago John Marshall Law School in 2021. While in law school, she served as a judicial law clerk and legal intern in various capacities throughout Chicago, as well as a staff editor for the UIC John Marshall Law Review. Her article, Escaping Death: The Colorado Method of Jury Selection, was published in 2021 and received UIC’s Scribe Award.
