Timothy M. Day is a principal at Ice Miller Strategies and a co-vice chair of Ice Miller’s Public Affairs Group. He represents clients and works closely with legislators to develop and implement policy and political strategies. Tim has extensive local, state, federal, corporate, association and consulting firm management experience. He is a proven leader with a track record of strategic planning, public speaking, coalition building, corporate fundraising and community outreach.
 
Prior to joining Ice Miller Strategies, Tim was a principal at Calfee Strategic Solutions, a local, state and federal government relations consultancy. As one of two non-legal professionals at this Firm, he provided legislative and strategic advice on behalf of clients ranging from large international corporations and Fortune 100 companies to entrepreneurs, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
 
From 2016 to 2020, Tim was a senior vice president of the Chamber Technology Engagement Center at the United State Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. In this position, he worked to tell the story of technology's role in our economy and advocate for rational policy solutions that drive economic growth, spur innovation and create jobs.
 
Tim joined the Chamber from Teradata Corporation, where, as vice president of government affairs, he coordinated and developed public policy advocacy agendas and communicated with key federal, state and international government decision makers.
 
Before Teradata, Tim served as vice president of government affairs at NCR Corporation. He also served as chief of staff to Congresswoman Deborah Pryce (R-OH), legislative director to Congressman David Hobson (R-OH) and legislative assistant to Congressman Joe Barton (R-TX).
