Tyler Hardcastle is an attorney and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ice Miller’s Real Estate Group. Tyler advises and represents clients in multiple aspects of real estate transactions including entity structuring, private equity funds, upper-tier investments and joint ventures. Tyler’s practice includes facilitating transactions with low-income housing or renewable energy tax credits and market rate transactions without such credits.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Tyler worked as a senior tax staff in the real estate services group of Katz, Sapper & Miller LLP. He prepared and reviewed federal and state partnership, corporation and individual tax returns as part of various real estate and private client engagements. He worked as part of a team to provide client-focused solutions regarding structuring, tax opportunities and tax planning with a focus on partnership taxation. Tyler earned his juris doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and his bachelor’s in political science from Wabash College.
 
Tyler is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Indiana.
