Victoria White is a practice group specialist in Ice Miller’s Municipal Finance Practice. She assists the practice with day-to-day operations and manages strategic relationships.
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Vicki served as chief operating officer of the School Improvement Partnership. She worked directly with charter school management to meet continuing disclosure obligations after issuing municipal bonds according to Rule 15c2-12 and agreed-upon disclosure agreements. She employed strategic relationships with bond trustees, underwriters and institutional investors as well as other industry professionals so the firm was requested as continuing disclosure agent on all transactions. In addition, she utilized existing strong charter school relationships to grow continuing disclosure client database by a minimum of 10 charter schools a year. Vicki also managed organization financials, updated and tracked the pipeline of clients and provided insight and guidance.
Vicki formerly served as vice president and junior banker at BB&T Capital Markets/BB&T Securities. She was the direct senior credit analyst for all Charter School Investment Bankers and sourced and executed charter school transactions. She led the execution of transactions from engagement through closing.
Vicki maintained close interaction with all members of the working group: bond counsel, bank counsel, underwriter’s counsel, the bank, the trustee or paying agent, the dissemination agent, the borrower, the conduit issuer and their counsel. She also managed regular client interaction in order to facilitate and maintain positive account management.
She supervised the submission of information for both Depository Trust Company and Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board to ensure the group was in compliance. In addition, she established a transaction financing timeline and contact list.
Vicki is NASD licensed with Series 7 and Series 63.
