Whitney L. Rogers is an associate in Ice Miller’s Municipal Finance Group with an emphasis on tax-exempt financings by schools and libraries. Whitney serves as bond counsel, underwriters’ counsel and disclosure counsel. Whitney also counsels certain clients on state law issues surrounding referenda and the petition-remonstrance process.
 
Whitney received her Bachelor of Science in agricultural business management from the Purdue University College of Agriculture. Prior to joining Ice Miller, Whitney was a national account manager with Coyote Logistics for three years where she was one of the highest carrier sales representatives.
 
In 2017, Whitney received her juris doctorate from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, cum laude, with a certificate in energy, environmental and natural resources. Whitney is a 2014 Indiana Conference for Legal Opportunity Fellow. While in law school, Whitney completed an externship with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management through the Program on Law and State Government. Additionally, Whitney served as the academic affairs chair for the Black Law Student Association and as executive board member at large for the Indianapolis Bar Association Law Student Division. She was a member of the Dean’s Tutorial Society.
 
Prior to joining Ice Miller as an associate, Whitney clerked for Ice Miller in 2015 and 2016. Whitney is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.
