Angela M. Courtwright

Angela Courtwright practices in the firm’s Workplace Solutions Group. She provides clients with practical guidance and proactive counseling regarding all aspects of the employment relationship, including hiring practices, employer policies, employment contracts, disability accommodations, employee and contractor classification issues, leaves of absence, terminations and reductions in force. In addition, Angela represents clients in a wide variety of employment-litigation matters within Ohio and federal courts, as well as the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission.  

Angela is a former president of the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation and has served in various leadership positions on the Ohio Women's Bar Foundation's and Ohio Women's Bar Association's Boards. Angela is also a former vice chair of the Worthington Community Relations Commission where she served in an advisory capacity to Worthington City Council on community issues related to fair and equal treatment for all persons.

Angela is an editor for Ice Miller's Informed Employer e-newsletter. She has also served as a Chapter Chair editing the American Bar Association's Employment Discrimination Law Treatise since 2016 and is a regular contributor to the American Bar Association’s FLSA Annual Midwinter Report.
