Lindsay Limbach

Tax Credit Transaction Specialist

Lindsay Limbach is a Tax Credit Transaction Specialist in Ice Miller’s Real Estate, Environmental & Energy Law (REEL) Group. She supports Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) transactions by coordinating and managing critical components throughout the deal lifecycle, as well as other related transactions. Lindsay works closely with attorneys, clients, and project stakeholders to help ensure transactions move efficiently from application through closing.

A key point of contact on LIHTC matters, Lindsay regularly engages with clients and state tax credit agencies, supporting compliance and submission requirements across affordable housing developments. She maintains a strong working knowledge of state and local tax credits and related subsidies, including the role layered financing structures play in supporting complex affordable housing projects.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Lindsay served as Organizing Director for a Nebraska-based nonprofit, where she led statewide organizing and community engagement initiatives. She guided, coached, and coordinated teams focused on immigrants and communities, economic justice, health care access, and child welfare, helping to align organizing strategies with broader legal, policy, and organizational objectives. This experience informs her approach to mission-driven development and her understanding of how community priorities intersect with housing policy and funding.
