Michael A. Wukmer

Michael Wukmer, a partner in Ice Miller’s Litigation practice, is a seasoned, aggressive, no nonsense advocate, who represents businesses and individuals in complex, high stakes, and “bet the company” litigation. First and foremost, he is a trial lawyer, serving as lead counsel in jury and bench trials, arbitrations, and appeals, handling matters where outcomes are critical to the client’s business, assets, or reputation. Beyond the courtroom, Michael is highly client-focused, advising businesses and individuals on strategies to manage risk, to avoid litigation, or to posture for favorable outcomes in anticipated disputes.

Michael’s practice encompasses all types of business conflicts, such as contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, fiduciary duty claims, executive compensation disputes, employment claims, and actions to protect confidential information, preserve corporate assets, and prosecute or defend claims against competitors. He has extensive experience in matters involving trade secrets, intellectual property, unfair competition, restrictive covenants, non solicitation agreements, and corporate raiding. Michael also has significant experience in disputes concerning real estate and development, healthcare, agribusiness, municipal finance, data security and privacy, and other technology-related issues.
