Michael Bennett is an associate in Ice Miller’s Business Law Group.

Prior to a career in law, Michael spent five years as a professional football player in the National Football League with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons. He was also a member and captain of the 2015 Ohio State Football National Championship team.  

After receiving his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, where he majored in consumer sciences and family financial services, Michael went on to complete his juris doctor at Howard University School of Law. At Howard, his studies were concentrated in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital. He also served as a legal intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, an intern in the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman office of the World Bank Group, and as a summer associate with Ice Miller in 2022 and 2023.
