Ice Miller’s Chicago Office Supports Uncle Pete’s Ministries with Day of Service

September 23, 2025

Members of Ice Miller’s Chicago office made a critical and immediate impact on the local community by hosting a day of service to benefit Uncle Pete’s Ministries. The project is run by the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago and serves the community through hosting “sack dinner”-making parties, canned food drives, and collecting school supplies and warm clothing.

Volunteers made 2,000 sandwiches and packed 1,000 sack dinners that were later distributed to people experiencing homelessness at three locations on the Westside of Chicago near the United Center. The firm’s Community Involvement Committee also presented a $5,000 donation to Sister Judith Zonsius, OSB, to support the organization’s mission to create awareness and foster hope for those in need.
