Partner Christina Fugate Selected as a Member of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2025 Women of Influence Class

Ice Miller partner Christina Fugate was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s (IBJ) Women of Influence Class of 2025. The award honors Indianapolis’ most successful businesswomen and shares the triumphs and challenges that have shaped their careers.

Fugate is a partner in Ice Miller’s Litigation group, concentrating on franchise law and general litigation nationwide. As co-chair of the firm’s Franchise & Distribution team, she counsels clients on whether franchising is the right strategy to grow their brand. Fugate assists franchisors with preparing franchise disclosure documents, ensuring compliance with state and federal franchise and business opportunity laws, and managing franchisor-franchisee relationships. She is also a highly established litigator who represents clients in a wide range of matters, including product liability, general contract disputes, real estate issues, and more.

In addition to her law practice, Fugate is a member of the Board of Directors of Road America, Inc. in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. She serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, chairs the Dean’s Advisory Council for Butler University’s Lacy School of Business, and serves on the Board of Directors for All Good Dawgs, Inc. and Project 44, Inc.

Fugate has earned other honors such as inclusion in Best Lawyers in America, Franchise Times Legal Eagles and Indiana Super Lawyers. She also has been named to the IBJ’s Forty Under 40 in 2020 and received the Indy’s Best and Brightest in Law Award from Junior Achievement of Central Indiana.
