Maria Flores is a paralegal in Ice Miller’s Litigation group. She has more than ten years of experience in intellectual property, product liability and toxic tort law.
Maria assists clients and attorneys in all phases of litigation. During the discovery phase, she manages review and summarization of case materials. Additionally, Maria coordinates the collection and organization of medical records during the discovery process. She assists in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations and document production and analyzes client contracts for relevancy.
Maria is fluent in Spanish and has six years of accounting experience. Prior to working at Ice Miller, she was a toxic tort paralegal for more than seven years.
Maria was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1997-1998 then transferred to the University of Illinois at Chicago. Maria earned a Bachelor in Finance with a concentration in International Business in 2002.
