Michael Chabraja is a partner in Ice Miller's Tax Exempt Group, where he concentrates his practice on representing large trade associations and other nonprofit entities in a variety of risk management issues. Michael provides advice on issues relating to antitrust, governance, intellectual property and member disputes for nonprofit organizations, including professional societies and trade associations.
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Michael was a partner at an international law firm where he maintained a litigation practice and developed a concentration on the representation of nonprofit organizations. Michael’s litigation experience includes professional liability matters, corporate control disputes, defamation, fraud and trademark and patent infringement. In addition, Michael has considerable experience representing clients in litigation involving alleged breaches of bylaws, defamation and breach of fiduciary duties.
Michael received his juris doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law and is admitted to practice in Illinois.
