Rachel Mattingly Phillips is an associate in Ice Miller’s Workplace Solutions Group.
 
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Rachel served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Roger L. Wollman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
 
Rachel graduated summa cum laude from Washington University School of Law, Order of the Coif, in 2021. She was an articles editor for the Washington University Law Review and published a note in the journal titled, “Model Language for Supported Decision-Making Statutes.” While in law school, she served as an intern for the Legal Resources Centre in Durban, South Africa, and for the Center for Human Rights, Gender and Migration in St. Louis. She previously worked in the community economic development field, where she managed a statewide training program and consulted on organizational and community strategic planning.
