Sakshi Jain

Sakshi Jain is an associate in Ice Miller’s Business Group, where she focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions and other strategic corporate transactions. She regularly represents buyers, sellers, and investors in middle-market transactions across a range of industries, advising on transaction structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and execution. In addition to her M&A practice, Sakshi advises clients in connection with debt financing transactions, including senior, mezzanine, and other structured financings, often in support of acquisitions, recapitalizations, and growth initiatives. She also counsels clients on general corporate matters, including governance, commercial agreements, and ongoing operational needs. Sakshi also has experience advising nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations on corporate transactions, including mergers and asset transfers involving nonprofit entities.
 
Sakshi earned her juris doctor, cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society and received the Mark Grinker Student Commitment Award. She was also active in leadership roles within the South Asian and Asian Pacific American law student organizations.
 
Originally from New Delhi, India, Sakshi is a first-generation immigrant to the United States. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from New Delhi and an LL.M. in General American Law from the University of Illinois College of Law. Before moving to the United States, she worked as a tax associate for a multinational corporation headquartered in New Delhi.
