As bond counsel to municipal power agencies, Ice Miller helps structure tenancy in common and other complex legal structures for projects while complying with the specific federal tax rules that relate to public power. In conjunction with working with these public power agencies, Ice Miller also works with municipal electric utilities as to their projects and assists both the agencies and those individual municipal electric utilities with regard to their power sales contracts, various other matters relating to capacity and transmission issues, and implementation of rates and charges.
