Vanessa Patenoude

Vanessa Patenoude is a paralegal in the Intellectual Property Group, where she supports attorneys in all phases of United States and international patent prosecution. She has more than six years of experience managing patent filings, coordinating with foreign associates, and maintaining complex domestic and international dockets.

Vanessa prepares, reviews, and files patent applications and related submissions with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). She also prepares Office Action responses, Information Declaration Statement submissions, assignments, and related USPTO, Patent Cooperation Treaty, and WIPO filings, while managing both domestic and foreign patent dockets and coordinating closely with attorneys, inventors, and clients.

Vanessa earned her Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University, graduating cum laude. She also holds a paralegal certificate from DePaul University.
