Veronica J. Hubartt

Veronica Hubartt is Of Counsel in Ice Miller’s Public Finance Group, where she works closely with governmental entities and public sector clients on a wide range of public finance matters. She serves as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel, and underwriter’s counsel on tax exempt and taxable bond transactions, including financings for single and multifamily housing projects and 501(c)(3) organizations. Drawing on her experience in state and federal government, Veronica brings a thoughtful, practical approach to transactions rooted in an understanding of how public institutions operate and how public finance decisions affect entire communities.

Veronica’s commitment to public service began well before her legal career. Prior to law school, she served in the Office of the Indiana Governor across three administrations, where she provided legislative and policy advice, briefed executive leadership, and advocated before the Indiana General Assembly on gubernatorial priorities. During law school, she continued that path through internships with the Office of the Vice President of the United States and the Indiana University Office of Government Relations, experiences that deepened her interest in the intersection of law, policy, and public finance.

Veronica earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in Political Science from Manchester University.
