Abbigail Raben is a member of Ice Miller’s Government Affairs & Regulatory Law Group. With an extensive background in public affairs and lobbying, she has proven to be a valuable asset to clients.
As Director of Government Affairs, Abbi spearheads advocacy efforts for clients across various industries, including hospitality and tourism, alcohol and tobacco regulation, broadband and telecommunications, environmental affairs, gaming, health care, transportation, labor and employment, local government, economic development, and education. She develops comprehensive advocacy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and policy goals while maintaining strong relationships with key policymakers to positively influence public policy and advance clients’ legislative and regulatory agendas.
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Abbi served as the Director of Government Affairs at Tamm Capital Group, where she represented a diverse portfolio of clients before the Indiana General Assembly and state agencies. This multi-client experience strengthened her ability to manage complex policy issues across sectors, coordinate strategy among multiple stakeholders, and deliver strong results in a fast-paced legislative environment. Abbi also previously served as the Executive Director of Public Policy and Legislation with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) where she advocated for the interests of the agency among the Indiana General Assembly.
