Ice Miller Client Schrödinger Enters into Licensing and Collaboration Agreement with Tectora Therapeutics

Ice Miller client Schrödinger, Inc. (NASDAQ: SDGR) announced the formation of Tectora Therapeutics, a new biotechnology company it co-founded with New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and RA Capital Management to advance innovative therapies for immunology and inflammation. In connection with the formation of Tectora, the company also closed a $55 million Series A financing from NEA and RA Capital Management.

As part of the transaction, Schrödinger contributed two early-stage small molecule programs, SDGR-4594 and SDGR-8139, to Tectora and received an equity stake in the new company, as well as eligibility to receive future milestone payments and royalties. Under the collaboration, Tectora will also partner with Schrödinger’s drug discovery experts and leverage Schrödinger’s computational platform to advance the programs toward clinical candidates.
