Amanda Morton provides innovative and client-centered representation on commercial transactions in a wide range of industries. As a partner in Ice Miller’s Real Estate, Environmental & Energy Law (REEL) Practice Group, she represents lenders, developers, universities, Fortune 500 companies, startups, and small and family-owned businesses in a variety of real estate and finance transactions.
Amanda provides guidance to clients on purchase and sale transactions, leases, easements, title insurance, and development projects involving all types of commercial properties, including multifamily and mixed-use developments, retail and office projects, military and university housing, off-campus student housing, and healthcare facilities such as hospitals and medical office buildings.
In addition, Amanda represents lenders across a wide range of financing transactions, including real estate–backed loans, syndicated and portfolio loans, borrowing base modifications, loan assumptions, defeasances, mezzanine financing, and construction lending.
