Angela M. Rinehart

Angela Rinehart is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on representing clients through all phases of litigation, from investigation and discovery through trial. Her experience includes managing complex discovery, arguing discovery motions, drafting dispositive and merits briefs at every stage of litigation, and preparing cases for trial. She regularly supports trial teams by developing case strategy, preparing witnesses, and coordinating trial materials.

Angela has handled matters involving breach of contract, product liability, health care disputes, and professional torts, with an emphasis on health care litigation and regulatory enforcement. She represents health care providers in a wide range of contested matters, including civil litigation, license disciplinary investigations, administrative proceedings, and regulatory enforcement actions.

Before joining Ice Miller, Angela practiced as a litigator at a law firm in Indianapolis, where she focused on long term care medical malpractice defense and regularly defended providers in high exposure litigation. Earlier in her career, she served as a litigation staff attorney at the Indiana State Department of Health, representing multiple divisions—including long term care and environmental public health—in civil litigation and enforcement matters.

Angela’s background in the health care industry, combined with her hands on litigation and trial preparation experience, allows her to provide strategic, practical counsel to clients operating in highly regulated environments, particularly when matters are headed toward hearing or trial.
