As an associate in Ice Miller’s Business group, Caroline Mills-Haddad brings a balanced perspective to both buy-side and sell-side transactions. Her work in mergers and acquisitions involves representing sellers and founders as they navigate the sale of companies they have built. She considers it a privilege to be part of these pivotal moments, and she approaches each transaction with care, curiosity and a commitment to protecting her clients’ interests. On the buy-side, Caroline builds relationships with clients in a variety of industries, leads due diligence efforts, manages the transaction process, and drafts key documents.
Her practice also includes negotiation of commercial agreements and representation of publicly-traded companies, which often involves corporate governance, securities offerings, and compliance matters.
In addition to her practice, Caroline serves as an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she co-teaches the transactional “LLEAP” course, an experiential program focused on legal writing, leadership, advocacy and professionalism.
