Erica L. Clark

For more than 20 years Erica Clark has served a lead paralegal supporting clients in all facets of intellectual property law. Her practice encompasses U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution, copyright matters, due diligence, and docket management.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Erica served as a paralegal at a boutique firm devoted exclusively to intellectual property, where she gained extensive experience in both domestic and international IP portfolio management.

At Ice Miller, Erica is responsible for preparing and filing new patent applications, corresponding with clients regarding prosecution matters, and coordinating with foreign counsel to facilitate patent and trademark filings and maintenance outside of the United States. She also manages routine trademark and copyright filings, as well as related correspondence with clients.

Erica’s work also includes conducting due diligence searches in connection with the acquisition and sale of intellectual property assets. In addition, she has contributed to the development and implementation of docketing systems and software integration initiatives designed to enhance efficiency and accuracy in IP portfolio management.

With her comprehensive knowledge of IP procedures and commitment to excellence, Erica provides essential support to both the firm’s lawyers and its clients in navigating complex intellectual property matters.
