Many medical practices believe cybersecurity is handled by their IT provider. While technology is an important part of the solution, practice leadership remains responsible for protecting patient care, coordinating operations, meeting HIPAA obligations, communicating with patients, working with insurers and vendors, and guiding the organization through recovery.

This session helps physician owners and administrators understand where cyber risk truly exists in their practice and why resilience requires much more than antivirus software, backups, and an IT help desk.
