Hamilton Smith

Hamilton Smith is an associate in Ice Miller’s Government Affairs & Regulatory Law Group, focused on providing clients legal counsel on state legislative and executive branch lobbying matters. 

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Hamilton served as senior operations director in the Office of Indiana Governor Eric J. Holcomb. In this role, he was responsible for helping lead the strategic development and implementation of state policy priorities and legislative agendas regarding health and human services. Hamilton also served as deputy legislative director for the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration where he worked closely with legislators and stakeholders to successfully advance key priorities of the agency through the Indiana General Assembly.
