Kate Lyaker

Kate Lyaker is an associate in Ice Miller’s Public Finance Group. She advises clients on public finance matters, drawing on a background that includes government service, judicial experience, and legal research.

Before joining the firm, Kate served as an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Delaware City Prosecutor’s Office, where she conducted jury trials as first chair.

Kate earned her juris doctor, with honors, from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brown University. During Law school, she worked an extern for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, serving the Honorable William O. Bertelsman.
