Kevin P. Ewing is a partner within Ice Miller's Real Estate, Environmental & Energy Law (REEL) Practice Group and is based in the firm's Indianapolis office. Kevin has a broad range of real estate transactional experience and focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, refinancings, working capital loans, loan modifications, dispositions and joint ventures, with a particular focus on structuring and implementing Shari'ah compliant investment and financing structures. Kevin also has experience with drafting and negotiating commercial real estate leases, property management agreements, leasing services agreements, asset management agreements and other real estate operational agreements.
Kevin has negotiated and documented numerous balance sheet and CMBS loans, many of which have been in connection with implementing Shari'ah compliant investment and financing structures, for a variety asset types throughout the United States, including multi-property portfolio acquisitions and mixed use assets.
In addition, Kevin has experience in negotiating purchase and sale agreements for office, multi-family, assisted living and industrial assets, as well as bulk single family residential lot acquisitions and dispositions.
