Ice Miller LLP announced that an experienced legal executive from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP who's worked in the marketing departments at major firms for over 20 years has joined as its new chief marketing and business development officer.

Rebecca Wissler joined Ice Miller, the firm announced Tuesday, after spending a little over five years at BCLP. She told Law360 Pulse Thursday that, after a phone call from Washington, D.C.-based partner Jen Jackman and meeting with some of the firm's leaders, she was drawn to the role at Ice Miller because of its recent C-suite updates and its growth both via lateral hires and new office openings.

"I became really excited about the opportunity," Wissler said. "Also, a firm of this size with profit per equity partner over $1 million is a real draw. I knew it was well managed. Then when I met with other new chiefs at the firm, I was sold, and knew this was going to be a great fit and real leap in my career."
