Ice Miller partner Robert L. Gauss has been appointed to the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys (NAPPA) Executive Board. Gauss is an experienced attorney, whose practice focuses on assisting local and state governmental employers and retirement systems with employee benefit questions and concerns on matters of retirement, health and welfare benefits.

NAPPA’s Executive Board consists of a total of nine governmental or non-governmental members. Board members serve a three-year term beginning immediately after conclusion of the organization’s annual conference.

Gauss is the former Deputy Managing Partner, Indianapolis Office Managing Partner, Chair of the firm's Employee Benefits Practice Group, Chair of the firm's Personnel Committee, Chair of the firm's Professional Development Committee, and Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Ice Miller LLP.
