Patrick T. Tamm

Patrick Tamm is a principal in Ice Miller’s Government Affairs & Regulatory Law group. With more than two decades of experience in government affairs, he is recognized for his strategic leadership at the intersection of policy, politics, and media. His diverse background—spanning public policy, campaign strategy, and organizational leadership—shapes a professional approach defined by tenacity, precision, and a deep understanding of the critical interface between the private and public sectors. Patrick is the founder of Tamm Capital Group, where he continues to oversee operations and association management clients.

A seasoned public affairs and lobbying professional, Patrick represents businesses, trade associations, and nonprofit organizations across a broad range of issues, including taxation, regulatory policy, local government, hospitality, alcohol regulation, gaming, transportation, health, financial services, engineering, child and family issues, agriculture, tourism, technology, television and radio broadcasters, and labor and employment. In addition to serving as President/CEO of statewide trade associations, he has built statewide grassroots coalitions, designed comprehensive media strategies, developed procurement strategies, and established political action committees that advance client priorities and influence policy outcomes.

Patrick’s work has earned national and statewide recognition, including his inclusion in the Howey Political Report’s Indiana Power 50, that honors the state’s most influential leaders. He is also the recipient of the Governmental Affairs Program of the Year award from the International Association of Hotel Association Executives and the Best Governmental Affairs Campaign award from the Indiana Society of Association Executives.
