James Bulow is an associate in Ice Miller’s Litigation Group.

In 2020, James earned his juris doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During law school, he completed a legal intellectual property externship program focusing on patent, copyright, trademark, cybersecurity, contract and IP licensing projects.
 
James earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Butler University. In his free time, he enjoys volleyball, basketball and camping.

James has fifteen years of experience in the construction industry. His work experience ranges from materials testing at a stone quarry to structural design starting at schematics and ending with the owner taking possession of the property.  In this role as a consultant he worked as a team member to find the most efficient solutions to problems for all parties involved.

As a professional engineer, James worked with architects, engineers, developers, construction managers, contractors and owners. His project experience stretches across numerous industries and construction types. He worked on educational, commercial, residential, industrial and public projects.
