Katie Glick serves as practice group director for the Public Affairs and Real Estate Groups. In this role, Katie is responsible for providing leadership and management for the practice groups across all markets. She works closely with the practice group leaders and Firm management to develop strategic business plans and is responsible for overseeing various aspects of administration, management and day-to-day business operations for the practice groups.

Before returning to Ice Miller, Katie worked at Bar Communications, a strategic public affairs and public relations firm as vice president of engagement, where she specialized in public affairs, marketing strategy and business development. Katie has extensive experience working in public affairs and advocacy within government, politics and the private sector. She previously worked at Ice Miller as the agribusiness strategy manager and business development manager following roles at Indiana Soybean Alliance, Indiana Corn Marketing Council and Indiana Corn Growers Association. Katie began her career working for former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and former Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard. Additionally, she has experience in PAC and trade association management along with fundraising and industry relations.

Katie is a board member of Indiana Humanities and serves as governance chair. She is a member of the Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County Board of Directors, and is the former chair of the organization’s Women’s Giving Circle. She is a member of the Indiana Leadership Council of The Policy Circle. Katie served a three year term as one of Governor Eric Holcomb’s nominees on the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission and Judicial Qualifications Commission. In addition to being a graduate and former board member of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series, Katie is actively involved with her national fraternity, Alpha Chi Omega, as a chapter advisor. She is also an alumna of the American Enterprise Institute Leadership Network, member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition Indiana Advisory Committee and has been a contributing columnist for her hometown newspaper, The Reporter Times, among other publications. 

Katie’s agriculture roots keep her engaged with national and state agriculture and conservation organizations, and she supports 4-H as an alumna. 

Katie and her husband Brett live on their family farm in Columbus, Indiana with their two daughters. She is a graduate of Purdue University.
