Sara Dorland focuses her practice on general business litigation and the resolution of complex business disputes. She frequently serves as a member of the litigation team in complex commercial disputes and has experience with all aspects of the litigation process, having represented clients in matters involving commercial contracts, commercial real estate, financial services, and employer restrictive covenants.

Sara also frequently represents broker-dealers in arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in cases involving compliance with industry regulations, regulatory disclosures, licensing and registration, defamation, and expungement. Sara represents employers in wrongful termination actions involving former employees as well as in actions to enforce restrictive covenants.

Sara manages all stages of litigation including researching and drafting initial pleadings, dispositive motions, memoranda in support, and other documents in federal and state court, responding and preparing discovery requests, and conducting depositions. She frequently serves as first and second chair trial and arbitration counsel.
