Program Description:
Nonprofit leaders serving communities with diverse populations are increasingly navigating complex questions related to policy enforcement, government interaction, and community care. This session will explore the rights and responsibilities nonprofit organizations and leaders hold while balancing legal compliance, ethical leadership, and the protection and support of vulnerable individuals and families.
In partnership with Ice Miller LLP, CICF is hosting this Nonprofit Rights & Responsibilities seminar focused on supporting nonprofits that may serve international, immigrant, or transplant identities. Participants will gain insight into how organizations can respond thoughtfully, communicate clearly, and lead with integrity during times of uncertainty and heightened community need.
The session will feature a presentation from an Ice Miller attorney followed by dedicated time for participant questions and discussion.
