Ice Miller partner John C. Cannizzaro has been elected to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) Board of Directors. John is a former ABI 40 Under 40 honoree, and one of the nine new members elected this year, joining a team of accomplished individuals that steers the nation’s leading organization for bankruptcy professionals.

John is a partner in Ice Miller’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group, where his practice focuses on debtor/creditor disputes, commercial and bankruptcy litigation, and other insolvency matters. He frequently represents clients in secured transactions, loans, workouts, and other financial deals. John previously served in several different roles on ABI’s Bankruptcy Litigation Committee, the most recent being co-chair on the committee.

John will serve on the ABI Board for a three-year term, helping guide the organization’s programming, membership strategies, and thought leadership initiatives.
