Ice Miller is proud to announce that Tyler Kalachnik, a partner in the firm’s Public Finance practice, has been elected as Treasurer of The American College of Bond Counsel (ACBC), a national organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the practice of public finance law, for a three-year term.

The ACBC was formed in 1995 to recognize lawyers who have established reputations among their peers for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of bond law.

After serving on the Board of Directors for multiple years, in Tyler’s new role he will guide the College’s financial stewardship and support its ongoing mission of advancing excellence in public finance law.

At Ice Miller, Tyler serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, disclosure counsel, and borrower counsel for both long-term and short-term financings involving pledged revenues, taxes, or combinations thereof. His practice includes financings for single and multifamily housing projects, airports, municipal gas and water utilities, prepaid natural gas transactions, solid waste disposal facilities, 501(c)(3) organizations, and Indiana’s State Revolving Fund Program.
